Dermafit Skin Science – Terms & Conditions
1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases and services made through our website, in-clinic, or directly with the Dermafit Skin Science team, including skincare products and treatment services.
Dermafit Skin Science reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updates will be published on our website.
2. Skincare Products
2.1 Product Use Disclaimer
All Dermafit Skin Science products are professionally formulated using high-quality ingredients. Individual results may vary.
Clients are advised to perform a patch test prior to full use. Dermafit Skin Science is not liable for adverse reactions due to allergies, misuse, or failure to follow usage instructions.
Our products are cosmetic in nature and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Please consult a medical professional if unsure.
2.2 Return Policy
2.2.1 Eligibility for Return
Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase.
Products must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.
Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is required.
2.2.2 Non-Returnable Items
Opened or used products.
Sale or promotional items (unless defective).
Products not purchased directly from Dermafit Skin Science.
2.2.3 Defective Products
Defective or damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by clear photographs.
If approved, an exchange or store credit will be issued.
2.2.4 Return Procedure
Email info@dermafit.co.za with your full name, order number, and reason for return.
Do not return items without written approval and instructions.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was faulty or incorrect.
3. Shipping Policy
3.1 Order Processing & Delivery
Orders are processed within 1–3 working days, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Delivery may take an additional 2–5 working days, depending on location.
3.2 Shipping Fees
Orders of R1,500 or more qualify for free standard shipping.
Orders below this amount will incur a flat-rate delivery fee calculated at checkout.
3.3 Tracking & Delivery
Tracking details will be sent via email or WhatsApp once dispatched.
Please ensure all delivery details are correct. Dermafit Skin Science is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information.
4. Clinic Appointments & Treatment Services
4.1 Booking, Cancellation & No-Show Policy
No deposit is required to secure a booking.
Clients may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before their appointment without penalty.
No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours will result in a 50% charge applied to the client’s next booking.
Clients arriving 15 minutes or more late will forfeit their appointment slot.
Late arrivals (15 minutes or more) are treated as a no-show, and the same 50% charge will apply to the next booking.
These policies are strictly enforced to respect therapist time and scheduled appointments.
4.2 Consent & Liability
All clients must complete a consultation and sign an informed consent form prior to treatment.
Dermafit Skin Science and its therapists are not liable for reactions resulting from undisclosed medical conditions, contraindications, or failure to follow pre- or post-treatment instructions.
Clients are responsible for adhering to all aftercare guidelines provided.
4.3 Minors
Treatments for clients under 18 years of age require written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
A parent or guardian must be present during the consultation and treatment.
5. Privacy Policy
All client information is handled confidentially and used solely for bookings, communication, and order processing.
Personal information is never sold, shared, or distributed to third parties without consent.
6. Intellectual Property
All branding, content, imagery, formulations, and intellectual property associated with Dermafit Skin Science remain the exclusive property of Dermafit Skin Science and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
